FAQs

Will this fit my drum?
If your shell is drilled for a Trick-pattern throwoff with 0.85" (21.6 mm) two-hole spacing, yes—this is a direct drop-in.

Do I need a specific butt plate?
No. Use any standard butt plate you prefer. (This product does not include a butt plate.)

What’s different about the pivot?
We use a real motorcycle chain link at the pivot for strength, stability, and a smooth, positive throw.

Is it really 3D-printed—how durable is it?
Yes. The body is printed in a glass-fiber–reinforced composite selected for high stiffness and impact resistance.

What comes in the box?
The throwoff in your chosen color and the mounting screws. Snare straps/wires and butt plate are not included.

Can I install it myself?
If your drum is already drilled to 0.85" Trick spacing, installation is straightforward with basic tools. If not, a qualified drum tech can drill to spec.
